Go NABET!

Well, it was supposed to be a quiet couple of months, what with folks off working elections and whatnot. But we had a last minute performance for the workers of TPT public television. They're working on a 14 month expired contract. What's really disgusting about the whole matter is that TPT got 1.3 million in new taxpayer money through the Legacy Amendment, and now they're trying to eliminate the jobs of some of the most professional, successful people on their staff, including an Emmy winner. We sang at Mears park, along with Mark Dayton and Betty McCollum, and then marched over to the studio to picket as the governor's debate was going on. "Solidarity Forever" sounds really good in the skyway!

We're taking a break from rehearsal next week, as it's election day. GO VOTE!!!
